Mendara text-based group support

Mendara app-based group support

Mendara offers safe, expertly facilitated group support for women who have experienced a traumatic birth. All within a safe, secure app (currently open to a small group of founding members). The BTA helped develop the guided group sessions hosted in the app.

Mendara sessions are live, text-based, and completely anonymous. You join a small group of women who have been through similar experiences, using an alias. No real name, no personal details visible to anyone. What is shared in the group stays in the group.

Between sessions, Mendara gives you personalised tools and guided exercises to help you keep processing at your own pace, whenever you need them.

Every session is led by an experienced, trauma-informed facilitator with lived experience of a difficult birth from the BTA.

Every experience is valid at Mendara. Our facilitators are trained to make sure every voice is heard equally, however your birth went.

"This was really helpful and useful, one of the best forms of support I have had. It was great to share my story with people that understand and can validate my feelings."

Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes, text-based, and fit around your schedule. No pressure to share, participate at your own pace.
