We were delighted to host our first Improving Maternal Safety conference at BMA House, a gorgeous Grade II listed building in the heart of London.

The day brought together leading clinicians, researchers, policymakers and legal experts for a day of insight, collaboration and action.

Speakers and panellists included Baroness Merron, minister for women’s health and patient safety; Andrew Weeks, professor of international maternal health care at Liverpool University; and Alison Wright, president-elect of RCOG.

We had a wonderful day, full of insights, lived experience and positive stories of innovation and change.
