Jessica Blair

During my training, with over 220 supervised clinical hours, I volunteered at both Grief Encounter as well as CPPDs low-cost counselling service. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals becoming new parents and allowing them to find time for themselves during such a gigantic life change. This can be both in the run up to parenthood and during building a family.

I can see clients both in person and online in North London. I believe and am passionate that counselling should be offered to anyone who is in need. I strive to give clients a welcoming, respectful and compassionate space to explore challenges and opportunities.

I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment theory and incorporate somatic awareness in my practice. My goal is to work
collaboratively to build a therapeutic relationship that is kind, confidential and trustful. I allow clients to bring whatever is on their
mind and I will listen and support.

I offer short and long-term open-ended counselling to adults to address loss and bereavement, anxiety, depression, loneliness, shame, self-esteem, work issues, identity and belonging, relationships, trauma, life changes and intergenerational trauma. This list is by no means exclusive clients may wish to bring something else entirely.

My practice welcomes and encourages equality, diversity and inclusion.

I work integratively with adults. I am passionate about my approach being tailor made to the client. My clients are encouraged to be in the driver’s seat of the journey they want me to accompany them on during our sessions. That way we can explore what they wish to at their own pace.

I’m registered with the BACP. My number is 412239.

I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling from CPPD London.
