Megan Baldry
Hi, I'm Megan, a BACP-registered psychotherapist who supports women in the perinatal period. I'm based in Macclesfield, Cheshire but offer therapy across the UK via phone and video.
I support women with the many challenges that can be present at this time including overcoming the impacts of birth trauma. If your birth didn't go as you hoped it would, it's common to be left with overwhelming emotions, to feel disconnected from your baby, and to feel trapped by memories of the birth. Therapy can support you in processing your experience so it no longer dominates your present day.
I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and specialist training in perinatal mental health. I draw upon various therapeutic approaches including person-centred therapy, CBT, and compassion-focussed therapy, to work together in a way that feels most supportive for you. At the heart of how I work is providing a non-judgemental, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
You can find more information about me on my website and also book a free 20-minute consultation to discuss how I can support you.
